President (Academic Affairs)
My main remit is Education, this means I run campaigns to try and improve the quality of your learning experience. I am also the main representative for the union to the University and sit on about a million (well 12) committees to make sure the student voice is heard all the way up to the Board Of Governors.
I also represent you to the wider community and government, so don’t hesitate to email me if you want me to raise any issues. Another major part of my job is providing academic support and advice to all our students, if you don’t think your course is supporting you or if you have any been disciplined by the uni I am here to provide that support.
Check out the guides for really easy to read advice on really common or complex issues.
Your union is here to make your time at Swansea Met the best years of your life so please use us and get involved. |
