Hello and Welcome to Swansea!! I’m Luke and I am your Student Activities Officer (SAO) for the forthcoming year.

I know that the start of University life can be a daunting prospect, but just remember, everyone is in the same boat. My student life was exciting, memorable and an awesome experience. I hope it will be the same for you. The Students’ Union is here for you, to support you through both your academic and social life.

As your SAO it is my job to provide you with entertainments and activities throughout the year. I’m responsible for organising the sports teams, clubs and societies. There is a wide range of things to get involved with from the football team to the dance society to volunteering and even Raising And Giving (RAG), plus many, many more. However, if you don’t see something you like, then you can start up your own team, club or society.
