Course reps are one of the key ways the University works with students to improve your degree.
Course reps take part in the course rep forum meetings to raise students’ issues initially. This is then taken to any number of University board meetings the Students Union are a key part of. The Students Union's full time reps work closely and monitor the University to make sure your issues are dealt with in order to make sure positive change is put in place.
Academic reps...
* Are there to represent you!
* Actively seek to find out if there are any issues that are affecting your studies or student experience.
* Make sure you have your say about your course and how it is run.
* Raise your concerns and contribute your ideas.
* Get involved in the development of your course.
* Let the people who make decisions know how your course could be improved and raise issues and ideas.
The Course reps website has everything from academic guides to understanding the role of a course rep. It is the easiest way to find out who your rep is and contact details for them.
